Did you know that Apple, Google and Amazon all started out in a garage? What does that have to do with Owlish Press, you ask? Well, nothing. But the point we’re trying to make is that all great ideas have to start somewhere.

At Owlish Press, we’re passionate about words: reading them, speaking them, editing them – but, mostly, writing them!

As with many people, where you start out is not necessarily where you end up. And we’re no different.

We have cumulative backgrounds in fashion, jewellery, radio, film, healthcare and insurance – to name only a few.

But we have one thing in common. WRITING WORDS.

And we’re pretty good at it.

And so, like those big companies mentioned above, we had the idea of combining our skills and offering them to people looking for great word-slingers.

After all, you can’t join a word duel without the right words.
