About Me – Your Expert Editor
I matriculated in 1996 and started university in 1997. I pursued a B.Sc. degree in Occupational Therapy, which I successfully achieved in 2000. Since then, I’ve built a diverse career, working in various clinical OT roles across Cape Town, Gauteng, and even the UK. In 2011, I joined one of South Africa’s largest insurers as a Disability Claims Consultant, where I spent nearly seven fulfilling years.

Beyond my career in healthcare, I’ve always held a deep love for words and their power to captivate readers. In my spare time, I’ve engaged in editing work, assisting with theses, and exploring fiction writing. In fact, I’ve self-published several titles, cherishing every opportunity to bring stories to life.

As a member of the former Pretoria Writers Group, I’ve honed my passion for fiction writing, beta reading, and fiction editing. I am also a proud member of the Professional Editors’ Guild, where I maintain my professional development.
In 2021 I founded OWLISH PRESS. And subsequently helped launch a digital lifestyle magazine, called SEASONED JOURNEYS, and I am proud to be one of the writers.
I am also a proud associate member of the Professional Editors’ Guild.
And I continue to live in sunny Pretoria with my husband, two sons and two dogs named Juno and Vada.
